Sailing
Sail on young man when all is lost,
When on the wind and waves are tossed.
Forget the past and every fail.
Set your mast and raise the sail.
He’ll keep you ‘til the rising dawn,
So sail on, young man. Sail on.

In His Presence

Sitting, waiting,
anticipating
 The rushing wind to come
Light a flame to burn my flesh
And keep my heart from growing numb

Cut to the quick, my mind is sick
And seeks to serve its own
The sin I hate has run its course
 And my life is overthrown

Laying down on dusty ground
My face is in the dirt
Submitted to the king of all
my fear,
my shame,
my hurt

Rising Sun

Staring with empty
eyes
Across the morning  sea
The sun rises up
To shine it’s
faithfulness on me.
The light,
the warmth,
the
power,
the beauty
Poured out with no compromise

Redemption Song

The altar's embers smoking still
my sacrifice is done
The precious lamb I had to kill
yet my heart is still undone

A haunting past comes back to mind
of all my sinful wrong
Searching deep within to find
my past is now my song.
